China still strong in Fort Lauderdale (USA)

Lausanne (SUI), LONCAT INDAH INDONESIA  – The third leg of the FINA Diving Grand Prix 2012 successfully concluded in Fort Lauderdale (USA) on May 13. The four-day event welcomed current and up-and-coming elite divers from more than 20 countries.

China snatched six out the eight titles at stake and bagged two more silver medals. The Americans clinched the men’s 3m springboard title thanks to Christopher Colwill and made the podium in all events but the women’s 10m platform. Malaysia’s Huang Qiang/Bryan Nickson created a sensation again, taking home their second title in the men’s 3m springboard synchro. Other nations on the podium in Fort Lauderdale were Australia, Brazil, Canada and Mexico.

Among women, China dominated the operations with Wang Han triumphing in the 3m springboard with a total 377.40. Mexico’s Arantxa Chavez and local hope Christina Loukas completed the podium. Si Yajie (CHN) was the best in the 10m platform with a total score of 417.40, ahead of teammate Huixia Liu and Australia’s Brittany Broben, second and third, respectively.

In the men’s competition, Christopher Colwill (USA) captured the gold, scoring an overall 475.30 points while Li Shixin (CHN) and Alejandro Islas Arroyo (MEX) took silver and bronze, respectively. China’s Luxin Zhou took out the 10m platform in convincing fashion with a total 518.75 points. Home favourite Thomas Finchum was second and Ivan Garcia (MEX) claimed third spot.

Invitasi Loncat Indah KU 2012: Sumsel Ungguli DKI

JAKARTA-LONCAT INDAH INDONESIA-Daerah Sumatera Selatan berhasil mengunggguli DKI Jakarata dalam perolehan medali Invitasi Nasional Loncat Indah Kelompok Umur 2012. Acara yang berakhir pada 11 Mei di kolam renang Senayan Jakarta Sumsel meraih 3 medali emas, 4 perak dan 3 perunggu sedangkan DKI hanya berhasil mengumpulkan 3 emas dan 3 perunggu.  Sementara Jawa Timur tampil sebagai juara umum dengan meraih 8 emas, 3 perak, dan 6 perunggu.

Invitasi Nasional Loncat Indah adalah satu kalender rutin resmi sub cabang olahraga Loncat Indah Pengurus Besar Persatuan Renang Seluruh Indonesia. Invitasi ini diselenggarakan di Stadion Renang Gelora Bung Karno Senayan 9-11 Mei 2012.

Invitasi Nasional Loncat Indah Kelompok Umur 2012 diikuti oleh 7 Pengurus Provinsi PRSI dengan jumlah peserta 24 putra dan 15 Putri. Peserta Invitasi Loncat Indah Kelompok Umur ini diikuti oleh atlet Kelompok Umur yang tidak lolos dalam kualifikasi PON 2012 Riau

Delapan Pengurus Provinsi PRSI diikuti tujuh daerah yakni Kalimantan Selatan, Sumatera Utara, Sumatera Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, dan Jawa Timur.

Kejuaraan mempertandingkan nomor-nomor papan 1 Meter dan 3 Meter perorangan maupun menara 5 Meter, 7,5 Meter, dan 10 Meter perorangan. Pembagian Kelompok Umur, terdiri dari KU-A (16-18 tahun), mempertandingkan nomor papan perorangan dan menara perorangan; KU-B (14-15 tahun) menara 5 Meter / 7, 5 Meter, dan KU-C (11-13 tahun) mempertandingkan nomor papan 1 Meter dan 3 Meter perorangan, KU-D (10 tahun dibawahnya) mempertandingkan nomor papan 1 Meter dan 3 Meter peorangan.

Tujuan diselenggarakannya invitasi ini adalah sebagai pemantauan atlet yang akan dipersiapkan dalam Pelatihan Nasional (Pelatnas SEA Games 2013) dan melihat sejauh mana perkembangan cabang olahraga Loncat Indah di daerah.

Local stars take the spotlight in Montreal (CAN)

Lausanne (SUI), LONCAT INDAH INDONESIA - Canadians were in top shape at the second stop of the FINA Diving Grand Prix 2012 held in Montreal (CAN) from May 3-6. The locals climbed the podium seven times and pocketed the two women’s synchro titles. Among men, the pair Reuben Ross/Alexandre Despatie was second in the 3m springboard synchro, Despatie again taking silver in the individual same event.

Other nations to produce fine performances in Montreal were Australia, Cuba, Mexico, Malaysia, Sweden, China and Spain.

Australia’s rising talent Ethan Warren remained unchallenged in the men’s 3m springboard, totalling 511.75 points. Andres Villarreal from Mexico captured gold in the men’s 10m platform, scoring 512 points, ahead of Cubans Jose Guerra and Jenkler Aguirre, second and third, respectively. The two paired for the win in the synchro same event while Malaysian duo Huang Qiang/Bryan Nickson were the happy winners in the 3m springboard synchro.

The still-competitive Anna Lindberg (SWE) took out the women’s 3m springboard, totalling 344.40. Pamela Ware (CAN) and Sharleen Stratton (AUS) finished second and third, respectively. Malaysia’s hopeful Pandelela Rinong (MAS) finished on top in the women’s 10m platform, followed by Roseline Filion (CAN) and Melissa Wu (AUS), claiming second and third spots, respectively. The only podium for China was a third-place finish in the women’s 3m springboard synchro.

PRSI Gelar Invitasi Loncat Indah KU 2012

JAKARTA – LONCAT INDAH INDONESIA - Pengurus Besar Persatuan Renang Seluruh Indonesia (PB PRSI) akan menyelenggarakan Invitasi Nasional Loncat Indah Kelompok Umur 2012.

Menurut Wakil Bidang Loncat Indah Eko Setiawan L, Invitasi Nasional Loncat Indah adalah satu kalender rutin resmi sub cabang olahraga Loncat Indah Pengurus Besar Persatuan Renang Seluruh Indonesia. Invitasi ini diselenggarakan di Stadion Renang Gelora Bung Karno Senayan 9-11 Mei 2012.

"Invitasi Nasional Loncat Indah Kelompok Umur 2012 diikuti oleh 8 Pengurus Provinsi PRSI di Indonesia dengan jumlah 26 putra dan 20 Putri. Peserta Invitasi Loncat Indah Kelompok Umur ini diikuti oleh atlet Kelompok Umur yang tidak lolos dalam kualifikasi PON 2012 Riau,"ujarnya.

Delapan Pengurus Provinsi PRSI yang akan ikut serta diantaranya Kalimantan Selatan, Sumatera Utara, Sumatera Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur dan Sulawesi Selatan.

"Kejuaraan ini akan mempertandingkan nomor-nomor papan 1 Meter dan 3 Meter perorangan maupun menara 5 Meter, 7,5 Meter, dan 10 Meter perorangan.
